Support for the technological development of a nanotechnology regional startup – II


The subject of the project was the design of a high-voltage autotransformer modified in such a way that it was possible to monitor the internal temperature of the autotransformer and its primary and secondary windings were galvanically separated. Furthermore, the design was conceived in such a way that it was possible to generate different voltage waveforms on it, thanks to the variation of the input signal, such as a sine, sawtooth, square wave and others. It was therefore a further development of the basic technology necessary for the development of nanotechnologies, which builds on previous experience and acquired know-how. The reason for developing the technology in this way was to minimize the input costs for equipment used for the production of nanofiber products.

The output and benefit of the project was a study of the optimization of a commercially available transformer so that it meets new requirements, leading to the optimization of the production of nanofiber products, improvement of the process itself through voltage modulation, increased productivity, and expanded production options.

The project was implemented in 2021 and 2022 and was supported by the Regional Innovation Program of the Subsidy Fund of the Liberec Region.
